Super divisions by the way was started by WBC in the 80's.
They got rid of the light divisions and just made them super of the the division, one below .


Well, he beat the number of defenses. Fortunately for Elorde, not the duration of title reign. Elorde's still carry a heavier significance as he's the only champion during that time.

That's arguable, really.
Flash was not mandated to make title defenses every 6 months.
Mitchell was more active at 130 and had tougher competition imo.

I can see where you're coming from, however the only notable opponent of his reign is Tony Lopez.

I would agree had he took on and beat his contemporaries in the division at that time like Genaro Hernandez and Azumah Nelson.
