The men's finals is set!

Image

Lee Vann Corteza sent Kuwaiti Omar Al Shaheen on his way back home by delivering a resounding 11-3 beat down. AL Shaheen scratched three times on his break and that's all she wrote for him in this alternate break format. Corteza was under the radar all throughout the tournament, were the spotlight falling on current world's number 1 and his countryman, Dennis Orcullo. His matches was never featured in the live stream, and we never got the chance to see his earlier wins. There's no denying now as he made his way through the finals with one gutty win after another.

The other finals half will be filled by Taiwanese Fu Che Wei as he send the Zen master of pool, China's Wu Jiaqing (formerly known as Wu Chia Ching of Taiwan)
with a gutty 11 games to 8 win to set up a familiar Philippines vs. Taiwan grudge match that we have seen too many times in the past few years...

The distaff's finals is an all Chinese affair as Chen Siming booked her ticket by squeaking past the defending champ Kelly Fisher in a hill-hill affair, while Sha Sha Liu used the legend Allison Fisher as her stepping stone to perhaps add another feather to her cap. Her 9 games to 6 win over Fisher assured the a Chinese player will win this year's women's title.

The women's finals is about to start in a few minutes from now and will be followed immediately by the men's finals...

Just check on these 2 links from time to time for the live stream finals:

I guess the host country decided to have their all-Chinese women's finals match last and let the men play first. Click the link for live stream:

They've been posting videos of individual matches, but they rarely cover the ones that we
want to see. Just check out this website from time to time, hope they upload at least the men's finals...
