as far as I remember.. may napanood akong interview about his ritual.

i visited a pool hall last night and had a chat with a friend who's also an avid player of the game for quite some time. along the way in our conversation, i hurled him this question "what do you think is the reason why efren doesn't take a bath during billiards competitions"? well, this is what he said though i'm not sure if this was really true to efren. my friend says "there are plenty of players in billiards that need to be heated up in order for their true skills of the game to come out, and maybe efren's one of them. if this kind of player takes a bath before the game, it will take a little while for him to warm up his newly showered cold body, thus displaying a cold start in billiards. whereas the player who skipped taking a shower will have no problem warming up because his body wasn't subjected soaking up to cold shower, and it can readily be noticed when they perspire easily. sa madaling salita, madaling mag heater yong hindi naligo kasi dati nang mainit ang katawan".

i really dunno, but i will for sure try this out and experience this method if my friend's explanation was really true.
