Both Alex and Jeffrey lost their respective matches.

So far, we have 4 going in to the final 32, 6 are going home, and 2 more waiting to grab a spot for the last 32...

wow ... little bit bad for pinoys , just a small probability of both pinoys in the final.

Round of 64 -- Knockout stage

The ongoing noon session featured 6 Pinoys in action.

Raymund Faraon made short work of Cheng Chieh, winning 11 games to 5
Johann "Bubwit" Chua was more impressive with an 11 games to 4 trashing of Corrieri
Likewise with Elmer Haya who had a similar scoreline like Chua's, beating compatriot Felicilda
Lee Vann Corteza ended his lackluster campaign with a loss to Majed, 11 games to 6
Warren Kiamco is holding a 9 games to 8 advantage over the Chinese phenom, Wang Can

Chuah is doing good, he was lucky to have entered in the tourney. Read somewhere that Haya is an OFW in the mid east and he and van van have played so many times before in davao thats why he knows van van well and beat him.

The evening session, which is about to start, features the last 2 Pinoys in action.

We got Ramil 'Bebeng Bacolod" Gallego vs. Ralf Souquet, and Antonio "Gaga" Gabica against Medhi Rasekhi.

The Philippine flag is still in capable hands. Carlo Biado is one of the favorites, Johann Chua
might be coming in under the radar, but is a very dangerous darkhorse, and Antonio Gabica
was the losing finalist last year, he's no pushover by any means...

Congrats Gabica and Gallego. I underestimated you Ramil but you earned my respect today, great fighting spirit. :D Sad day today as we lost few of our best assets in this event but we must move on and hopefully they will do work they way up towards the finish line.

Pls vote here, we want to see the pinoys in the tv table. Vote Now!! :D
