P350,000 for each of them at least...Money that's hard to come by on the Philippine pool scene these days. Not too bad at all!!! :combo:

I hope this strong showing would achieve what Dennis hoped for: that the golden age of Phil. pool during Bata's heydays would be restored, and that big Corporations would again sponsor massive events in our country!

Any news from avid pool fans about this?

The World Pool Team Champiosnips finals is not looking good so far.

Team Philippines lost the first 3 matches, and Team China 2 only need 1 more match to wrap this up.

Dennis Orcullo lost to Liu Haitao (6-4) in the Men's 8-Ball Singles, Carlo Biado and Lee Vann Corteza
lost to the tandem of Wang Can and Dan Jinhu (6-2) in the Men's 8-Ball Doubles, and Lee Vann
Corteza also dropped his 9-Ball Men's Singles match to Dan Jinhu (8-5). Thank God for Rubilen Amit,
as she just trounced the reigning Women's 9 Ball champion Fu Xiaofang (8-4) in the Women's 9-Ball
Singles match, to bring the score to 3-1, China's favor.

Up next, will be Dennis Orcullo vs. Wang Can in the Men's 10-Ball Singles match. Wang Can is currently
up, 1 game to zip and Dennis desperately needs to win this one to keep Team Philippines hopes alive...
