The Pinoys won it, 11 -5. Here's another one of those
"magical" shots of Efren against Chang Pei-Wei. Enjoy!

Here's a game of One Pocket between our very own Efren "Bata"
Reyes and the legendary Grady Matthews. The players can only
pocket all his balls in one pocket, they has to choose between
the corner pockets at the foot of the table. In this game, Efren
gets the right corner pocket which is left for us if we're watching
on tube. Enjoy!

Here's a game between Efren and Jim Rempe in the 1996
Legends of 9 Balls Classic. No offense but Rempe made the
dumbest move I've seen in pool. I'm sure he's a consummate
PRO pool player but going for the moon in a hill-hill match???

But on second thought, I guess nerves got the best of him...

(Efren's next victim, Paul Potier :biglaugh: )

Here's a vintage Efren giving a clinic to Paul Potier. This was
waaay back in 1993, the PBT World Championship semifinals.
You wil also see one of Efren's benefactors, Poppit Puyat with
Efren's manager, Rolly Vicente...

haha hell yeah! i doubt if that was a safe either coz he hit that on speed.. lmao!

btw, the match was an old school type of game.. neither players breaking on the side and both relies on the breaking power.. unlike today, players studied how to control breaks..
