why not antillon vs gesta?

why not gesta vs rios? your just scared of gesta being beatin?

antillion is bum!!
i'm just being realistic and beside i'm not the one who is fighting and receiving punches in the ring.
how about you?

maybe antillon is bum but a at least he already had won a title belt and fought decent opponents.
How about gesta?

Gesta: "how would they know im ready if they not going to let me fight the best?"

i strongly believe Gesta will beat bambam in the lightweight division

if you want guys want Gesta to fight someone like Rios or any class A lightweight out there.

Its probably time for him to consider hiring a world class team and start with a good trainer.

forget what happened to rey bautista,aj banal, bernabe concepcion and among others.any type of sport you have to gamble.you win some, you lose some.if manny pacquiao didnt gamble to fight ledwaba or a barrera,he will not be an icon today.if donaire didnt take a chance against darchinyan, are we going to know him.promoters and handlers should not get any flak once a prospect fighter loses.once a title fight shows up,they should grab it.how will these fighters know they are ready if they will not test themselves against the best.is there a barometer when a fighter is ready to face the best? if theres any i want to know that.the only thing i detest when our champion goes to another country to defend their belt.this is a travesty to our heroes.if a rios fight comes along,i hope gesta and his handler will take it.win or lose we will be cheering.

c'mon bro... Pac already proved himself even before ledwaba and barrera

Pac was not only a former flyweight titleholder but a 'true" champion in that weight class by beating 'The best' @112.

and gesta at this point of his career? like i said i'm just being realistic.

Rios vs Gesta will not happen and will never happen at this point.
Give Gesta 2 or more fights against a notable contender and lets see from there.

Gesta is different bro..the guy is improving everytime...his moves tells you that he is no bum...the guy has skills, speed and decent footwork that you dont see in other pinoy prospects...

Gesta is no donaire or pac and even more rios is no darchinyan nor barrera.

you just said the magic word bro 'improving'...
improving against who?
fighting someone like Rios, gesta better not be improving, he must be improved already otherwise his change of winning is very slim.
Puncher's chance? have you not seen how Rios walk-in to the punches of the punchers of his division... and unfortunatey, Gesta is not a puncher to make a miracle punch nor a boxer to outpoint rios.
Donaire and Pac? they have one or two of those qualities.
another thing, have we seen Gesta chin tested by someone like Rios?

if you dont believe mercito can out box rios then i dont know anymore...
mercito is still improving but his skills right now is undeniably far more superior than his previous opponents.
