i cant understand why a lot of us here are so disrespectful to tim
its not his fault. the judges gave it to him.
if we have to disrespect , it should be the judges because its their fault. not tim, not arum, not manny, nor anyone else.

what ever conspiracy, if there was, there would have been no contreversy if the judges did not conspire or to the least, do their job right.

The question is: Did Bradley deserve the respect as the first boxer who ended Pacquiao's string of victories for 7 years?

The more of the same question: Did he deserve the win? :?

Follow-up question: What is there to be respected in that debacle?

Bradley will get the respect if he surrender his belt and tell the world who really won otherwise he will get no respect.

i agree TS. for me Tim is a class act and a good guy. Theres a lot of arrogant athlete out there but he is not one of them. and Max Kellerman also say something similar - Bradley represents what is good about boxing and you cannot help but root for Bradley in the future.

If there are pacfan who are venting their anger toward timmy, they are misguided. Also i know some pinoys are fans of Tim from the Bay Area.

TS, If a robber/thief who is about to be cornered by the police passed the loot to you. Will you keep the loot or return it to the owner? If you keep it because it's your luck and not your fault, are you deserving of respect?

He has a moral obligation to return what was given to him acquired by wrong means!

The June 9, 2012 was a WATERSHED moment for BRADLEY..CHOICES...Pride? or Character? PRIDE keep the belt though you KNOW you didn't win but out of PRIDE say here it is, I took Pacquiao's belt though the whole world knows (ANDRE WARD too) that you lost..OR CHARACTER...Give Manny the Belt back, say I DID NOT WIN THIS.. But give me a Rematch in NOVEMBER and give me the Chance to Win it HONORABLY..He would have WON the CROWD, Gained a FAN BASE and been HAILED as Acting like a REAL CHAMPION....But he chose PRIDE instead and now the demons of the whole Boxing World are Haunting him....No Wonder JESUS Christ warned us of PRIDE above all else....

Respect is something EARNED not GIVEN.....

Timothy Bradley SQUANDERED his opportunity to EARN the respect of the people....

KARMA is just being served!!

I THINK RESPECT IS NOT THE BEST FOR YOU TO USE. I THINK THE MOST APPROPRIATE IS UNDERSTAND.

Worst is keeping the tainted belt and use it as bargaining chip to get a rematch!

Take the case of Miguel Zubiri!

He gave the senate seat that rightfully belongs to Pimentel!
Zubiri gain the respect of many by that act!

Next time you see Tim here is what are you gonna do:

1. Magmano ka
2. End your sentences with po or ho. like "You want to eat, po?" or "Yes. ho."

What do you mean by people being this respectful to him? It is only in the internet and the forums and I do not think he ever goes here. Unless you are Tim and you are a member of Pacland. I do not think Tim is complaining about any disrespect...maybe death threats but not being disrespected.

Someone has a list of boxers who were given a gift decisions in title fights but refused to accept the win and handed the titles to their opponents?

bradly had my respect during the fight because he showed mastery in avoiding Pakyaw's power punches by moving his head. Though he was clearly hurt at times, he did not imitate the dances of Mosley and others. he attacked even though he was outmatched. i think he showed the

he was outmatched. and i think he knows that. as of now i am waiting for bradley to issue a truthful statement that pakyaw won the fight. if he do that, i will give him my respect.

truth and honesty will save boxing.

Pacquiao doesn't need the belt.
Bradley needs more money from Pacquiao Rematch

I agree. He already got the $$ he wanted. Yet he is still psyching himself
that he won and he deserves that belt.
