WBO ordered unified WBO-WBA champ Viloria to have no.1 Milan Melindo as the mandatory challenger.

Viloria should vacate the WBO title and retain the WBA title to face WBA light flyweight champion Roman “Chocalatito” Gonzalez, to give Milan Melindo his long overdue crack to the WBO fly title.

C'mon if a mexican can fight fellow mexican. Why can't a filipino fight their fellow filipino?

its not economically feasible.

who will watch viloria vs melindo--only FILIPINOS and held here in the Philippines?

cmmon, viloria will rather choose to get higher purse fighting Gonzales becasue he has no choice but to face Milendo if he will not vacate the WBO title.

WBA light flyweight champ Roman Gonzales will be moving up to flyweight to face WBA/WBO champ Brian Viloria and not the other way around

Yes, please Viloria give you fellow Filipino's a chance. Just call out Chocolalito and get more money for your fight purse. Then maybe after the Nicaraguan, there's Narvaez or maybe that Japanese WBC title holder for another unification. Mabuhay ka Brian!

world championship fights between two filipinos, the start of another golden age for philippine boxing. im excited fothe matchup between viloria and melindo..hopefully it would be in las vegas and televised by hbo or showtime..but anywhere and any network will do, am still happy with it as long as there will be a fight between tha two

Ignorant post.. Boxing is a sport! filipinos fighting filipinos for non titles are ok but doing atitle fight is a no no? sheesh. we should be excited about seeing one to be honest.

THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID A

A VERY SADDEN COLLISION

BETWEEN TWO PINOY PUGS.

VILORIA MUST GIVE WAY,

SHARE OF BLESSINGS BA

TO OTHER ASPIRING FELLOW PINOY WARRIORS.
