Viloria and Nonito Donaire?

i heard about that donaire guy...fought some armo and quit :biglaugh:

That's Glenn Donaire...the older brother.

Oh yeah! How could I forget about Viloria! Thanks Chups.

As for Donaire (Nonito and Glenn), I left them in the 'other' thread. Not sure if we're ready to call them contenders just yet. Nonito needs stiffer competition, and Glenn has to just finish a fight...

Nope, I have him in the 'other' thread. With 10 professional fights, I couldn't stick him as a 'contender or champ', even if he holds a very minor, regional belt. But he may be on his way if he keeps it up. 8)

No problem glad I can help.

About Nonito......The Ring magazine seems to think he's the next best thing at Junior Bantamweight.

Much appreciated pareng Chups.

Okay, back to Nonito. I think he's a talent and future world champ. I really do. Maybe he gets his title shot in 2008. He's got 17 professional fights under his belt. If he stays active this year, get, say around 3 matches (and wins of course), I think he can get his title shot. Naturally, he'll be included in this thread by then. Just don't wanna jump the gun. That's why I didn't put his brother in here either. He had his title shot alright. And performed poorly against Darchinyan. I thought it was a little premature for him to fight Darchi then. Sure, an opportunity's an opportunity, but I thought he needed a little more experience before he could get in the ring with a solid champ like Darchi.

But Nonito's the much better fighter of the two, that's for sure.

Francisco is now ranked number 10 by WBO in flyweight Division.. I hope he will get title shot against Omar Narvaez...
