On that thread, we can share info about anything related to our Montanosa pride particularly sports, or even interesting events. Maybe you can also share some nice igorot songs. :D

Matago tago taku am-in ay taga Cordillera. Gawis ay aldaw taku.

Okay then here it is.

Thanks for joining brow golemaw. Actually, Cordillerans speak different languages and with different intonation too. For example:

English: What is your name?

Ibaloi: Ngantoy ngaran mo?

Kankanaey: Ngadanay nagan mo?

Ours: Ngachanay ngachan mo?

Others (I forgot the tribe) : Hinoi nagan mo?

and there are others such as the kalinga, Apayao, Abra, Ifugao, etc.

For those who don't know, Cordillera is divided accordingly as Benguet, Ifugao, Baguio, Mountain Province, Apayao, Abra, and Kalinga. Each regions have different languages they speak which is subdivided into different tribes and these tribes have their own language and dialects that they speak. The above mentioned is just 1% of what cordillerans speak. I hope others can share too.
