madi kakabsat (?)...dyay anak ti kasama mi dyay balay mi ag-sau sau to me in ilokano, kalaro ko for 10 years....dyak ammo ti ag-sasau en ko, sori :oops: pero makaintindi syak ti bassit, bassit lang.

in iloko such as: mannakaawat,
managpasensiya (no direct translation)

Mrs. Tanoy is a very kuripot Ilocana (no offense meant to all Ilocanos).

When her husband died, she inquired with the newspaper, asking the price
for the obituary.

The ad taker said: "300 pesos for 5 words."
