The proposed Pacquiao versus Hatton may not push through at all due to expected reasons---
Disagreement of the purses among the two. It's like a deja vu... when before it was Dela Hoya demanding a bigger slice of the pie and now it is Pacquaio's turn to act like one. They must also bear in mind that Hatton brings also something what Pacquaio can.
I now tend to believe that Pacquiao really inherited Dela Hoya as torch bearer of boxing and also his...

greediness.

Hopefully not,but the signs are pointing to his down fall.50-50 I believe is fair for both of them.
They are probably thinking that a fight with Mayweather is far more lucrative but unfortunately they may not get the results that they wanted....

Pacman has the right to demand, he is the attraction here. If I were Manny I ask 70%.

60/40 for Pacquiao is fair. Pacquiao must have the edge as he is the draw. Pacquiao will bring in more British fans also, compared to Hatton fighting someone like Malignaggi. That fight wasn't even on PPV. Hatton is not a PPV draw in the US like Pacquiao is . So I think 60/40 for Pacquiao is more than fair.

This was expected anyways, there will always be posturing to get the best deal for their fighters. I'm actually surprised that Pacquiao's side wasn't asking for more initially, like 70/30, and then it will come down finally to 60/40.

And for those who keeps talking about Pacquiao getting greedy, be realistic. That money will be split up and everyone involved gets a cut and someone needs to take care of Pacquiao's interest. Out of that purse a big chunk goes to US taxes, not quite sure but I've heard before it's something like 50%. Pacquiao has a large entourage to take care of, and he gives a lot to his charities and impoverished fans also.
