Depende iyan sa methodology ng breeding program and foundation blood mo kung saan ka mag uumpisa...if you start on a straight bred, you can keep them 100 % right on the very same blood you started with...hahimbawa nag start ka sa 100 % na straight bred na Kelso at you breed it to the same specimen of a 100 % straight bred kelso..then 100 % straight bred Kelso na kaagad ang produkto mo...if started on a 2 way cross , meaning half 'n half you have to breed it to either 1/2 of the blood composition of that strain and bred it to that side to the very end....halimbawa 1/2 kelso-1/2 hatch...gusto mo sa side ng hatch mag pa puro n the offspring of 1/2 kelso-1/2 hatch ay i breed mo balik sa hatch to get the 3/4 hatch-1/4 kelso, then same process you'll get 7/8-1/8 and so on...same thing din if you would like to breed toward the kelso side.
ah ganun po pa so sa pang 4th breed makukuha mo na ang pure 100% na breed.. bro diba first breed mo is may 3/4 breed kana saan ba yon namamana ng sisiw sa ina ba?
Kung nakuha mo na ang stability ng dugo early along da breeding process..why go deeper into the realm of radical inbreeding? too much inbreeding can cause inbreeding depression...( lacking in station, poor resistant sa mga disease, poor egg production sa mga hens, crooked toe, pagka paling ng buntot, limber necks among the few at deterioration in built ang magiging resulta in the pursuit of 100% via in breeding method! we cross out fowls to improve their characteristics, and we bred them within the family to attain uniformity and stability. if we allow ourselves to get carried away...there is no worst methodology to ruin our birds than this way.
kung nais mong mag pa puro using crosess or multi crossed fowl...ay mainam nga mag start ka sa puro then cross out.....
ang mga anak o sisiw ay minamana ang genetics mula pareho sa ama at ina...
