AJ Banal is on the comeback trail, this time out of ALA, and into the hands of Joven Jimenez, courtesy of Rodel Mayol. So Banal is now a stablemate of Ancajas and Barriga.

Will it make him better now that he is out of ALA ? Well, Jimenez correctly advised him to practice and not just go for the KO of a journeyman. We shall see. If he still can't make it, he really has no business in boxing, except as a journeyman. He might get lucky like Sonny Boy Jaro.

He looks so fat and slow, his opponent even thought he won against Banal. Let's see if he has the discipline to get back into featherweight ...

Just read somewhere that his contemporary Boom Boom Bautista is a boxing referee ...

The problem with ALA fighters in the divisions above flyweight is that they wilt when faced against better opposition than those usually fed to them in Pinoy Pride :(, and it's been like that for years ... ALA boss seems clueless on how to improve training.

At least the lower weight fighters fare better, that's only 2, Melindo and Nietes.
