"El Torito" right now weighs around 134 lbs... Team Torito requested to move the fight to a later date and I guess their request was granted... The Banal-Torito title fight is now scheduled for July 26 instead of the original June 21 date...

Filipino fight fans will get a chance to size up Rafael Concepcion, the opponent of AJ “Bazooka” Banal in their scheduled battle for the vacant World Boxing Association super flyweight title set for July 26 at the Cebu Coliseum, on Viva Sports “Main Event.”

Telecast at 9:00 p.m.on Sunday over IBC 13 and sponsored by Tanduay, the No.1 Rhum and supported by PAGCOR, “The Main Event” will feature Concepcion in action against Ricardo Molina for the vacant Central American Boxing Federation title on May 20, 2006 and his clash with Jean Pierro Perez on March 24, 2007.

On El Tortillo record I will not doubt AJ Banal, AJ is a special up comming World Champion even if you will tell me who will win against Mijares I will not doubt AJ can beat them.

i don't think that guy can go down to 115lbs. he'll lose because of weight disqualification. what a way for banal to be a champion. hope to see banal fight a real champion.

Looks like El Torito is much bigger than AJ now, he's 135lbs, a lightweight.

Don't worry guys, this will be an easy one for Bazooka. Hell he fought tougher opponents before. Trust me, Concepcion will be a walk in the park compared to the much tougher Caril "El Rato" Herrera.
