evrything here can be summed up in one phrase..THEY DONT FIGHT SMART!!!

stamina and evrything given AJs skills can be remedied if he knows how to pace himself..of course its given he doesnt have the stamina.so what he should have done(OR HIS COACHES ADVICED HIM) is fight in spurts...coz he cant go full rounds..lets acknowledge that our fighters have weaknesses,if it cant be remedied then find ways to exploit their strengths...YOU CANT ALWAYS BE GREAT BT YOU CAN HAVE YOUR MOMMENTS TO BE GREAT,AND IN THOSE MOMENTS YOU CAN WIN A FIGHT!!..utak men!!,ng ensayo ka na e.heheh!

Mediocre foot work.

The hype precedes their accomplishment.

pinoy fighter fights to much clean... they should learn some tricks that they could use to their advantage..
-punching while holding like concepcion and hatton for example..

except for intentional headbutt...of course, which for me is inhumane.. :drinking:

i agree with you bro..... the pinoy pugs are too NICE
they should know how to fight back when getting bullied.

imo the coach/cornerman failed to recognize the situation.

PInas is short of supply of rice that's probably caused Banal to felt weak in the late round. Concepcion probably ate more rice because Panaman has adequate supply. :)

I still admire Banal even though he lost to Concepcion. But next time he fight he should not allow his opponent to use dirty tactics. And he should have improved endurance next time he fights.

Being one dimensional.

Either we fight well from the inside, or from the inside, but only few could fight in and out.

Gerry Peñalosa
Manny Pacquaio
Luisito Espinosa
Dodie Boy Peñalosa
Nonito Donaire

The above champions doesn't only possess strong punches, but also have good techniques in fighting inside and outside.

Z Gorres, and AJ Banal fights mostly from the outside. AJ would be really hard to pressure if he has good inside fighting techniques.

Another thing is, kulang sa gulang.

u mean from the outside and inside right? I agree, our boxers need gulang (age) too. :) I think we have a lot of magulang (aging) people in the governmen that our boxers can hire. :)

And who's the best fighter "from below"? :D

He began well, lost steam in the end. He did not pace himself, did not avoid the tactical clinches and body shots which did him doom. He's still got long ways to go. Let him him get his *** whuppin' but get back to the gym. The guy i think was overcooked in training.

Those ALA boys are good boys. I think they are just pressured to win. Having Pacquaio as the national treasure of our country. They are pressured to follow his footsteps.

Why follow him? Let them make their own road for greatness. Manny is unique and so are they.

"Filipino Boxers?"

So you're saying all Filipino boxers have this "weakness?" Or that other nationalities don't have this "weakness?"

I think he's just stating the "Common Weakness of Filipino Boxers". He didn't mention any of the other nationalities' weaknesses or what's not on them. Again just calm down, it just seems that you're emotional for this thread basing on the outcome of the fight.

The only reason why AJ & Boom2 lost, is the thing that they don't have the capacity to take the punches of they're opponents, they're good in throwing punches but they're not train to take hard puches. and also they throw a wide range of punches that their opponents see the angle on where to land a big punch. i want them to be back inside the ring and fight much better & much wiser i think they both learned how to fight this time. good luck mga idol ok lng yan bawi n lng sa susunod and also to cotto better luck next time idol.

for me, their common weakness is mental toughnesss..
they always succumbs to the pressure, thats why they always underachieve...
