Guys, i watched all the fights last night but i was truly impressed with this 20 yr old kid , Milan Melindo who fought brillantly against a very tough fighter from Panama ,Melo, who moves a bit stylishly similar to Gayweather..

Early on, Panamanian imposed his will on Milan with his quick hands and amazing footwork.. I even thought our local boy was placed in a cage just to be devoured by a hungry lion..

Lo and behold, after figuring out the opponent's weaknesses Milan began body-punching his way to victory and the once feared lion became merely a shadow of his old self..

Milan is a young fighter who is not easily rattled, remain calm , and sticks to game plan. He has speed and power on both hands and If this guy is handled well by a competent trainer/coach, I see this guy becoming a legit world champion someday!

Its just right to put your sights to another fighter in order for us to move on. Yep Milan Melindo is gonna be a world champ someday because of his boxing skills. In all of the Ala boys he throws the fastest combinations and the most stylish punches ala juan manuel marquez. He fights cool and confident.
But its just too early to hype him, I'd rather want him to build his name and solidfy his greatness quietly like what happened to Donnie Nietes who made his way to the top without being given too much attention.

Its also time for their Stable to conduct an evaluation of their coaching techniques and training methods. Ala trainers are good trainers but the problem is obvious here. Stamina has been the problem for their boys and this has to be resolved if they don't want their prospects to fall one by one.

Just like other ALA boxers, stamina is up to 6 rounds only. Dont get me wrong but this is a fact.

nope, he is a thinking fighter. he saw his opponent fold on a body punch. he exploited it and the fight wasn't in melo's hands anymore. had it been the usual ala fighter, head-hunting, going for the ko to impress the crowd, he wouldn't be able to turn the fight around. He would lose steam.

he fights methodically thats why you see him as a boring fighter, his power is superior than Z gorres's.
