Would it make a (big) difference if Freddie trained AJ, our very own Abe Concepcion just KOed El Torito Carrera

Banal's handlers failed to do their homework in studying the style and the dirty tactics of Concepcion. They should have known that this guy punches his opponents body while on a clinch. They should have prepared for this. Banal should have allowed himself to be bullied w/ those body punches.

I think it would make a really big difference especially if Aj trained at L.A.

it makes a big difference if roach trained them.
it makes a bigger difference if roach trained them in the U.S.
it would still make a difference, if in the situation yesterday, all the training and preparation were done at their gymn, but at fight night roach is at banal's corner. He would have given him the right advice on what to do.

Im not sure...but I think the problem of AJ is conditioning....he looks very tired...there were times I said to myself...is this the man owns a record of 17 wins (14KO)...where's the POWER? 8)

yes definitely it would be an easy fight for Banal if he trained by Roach, condtioning coaches are Eric Brown and Alex Ariza plus world-class sparring partners

imagine how good "bazooka" Banal would be
and more complete fighter than ever at young age in short time

just like Pacman, Gerry Penalosa and

Abe Concepcion who impressively won against Carrera in 3rd round

that too would help a lot. a good coach and trainer, a good conditioning coach, and the quality of sparring partners he gets to spar with.

With the way Banal and Gorrez showed in their last fights, coming in strong and then slowly tiring out in the later rounds, ALA gym should now re-think and review whats wrong with their conditioning process.

the difference is that gorres gassed out due to his own style and not due to the opponent's punches. That is because his style lets him avoid many punches than the aggressive style.
Banal on the other hand gassed out on the bodypunches.

Yes, Roach preparing a lot of game plan on the fight and Roach knows how to adjust. Banal and his trainer just let el torito dig the body of AJ all night they didn't make any adjustment on it. Ala lacks of strategy and game plan. but on developing the skills of their fighter ALa is good.
