The consecutive losses of OUR boxers in championship fights, reflects badly on the quality of training that they have.

Z Gorres - 2x vs. Montiel and Darchinyan

Bautista - vs. Joey de Leon

Banal - vs. Gabby Concepcion

Donnie Nietes didn't do too well either, he was gassed out in the championship rounds.

Facts.

Fine tuning is the most tricky part. Training a good boxer is a very involved process and all but it all begins in the boxer and ends in the boxer.

Does Edito Villamor know what he is doing? Why did he go to Roach for? IT might sound harsh but to me the head expert (coach ) for ALA . his training methods needs to be investigated..The scheduling and timing. How to prepare for a big time fight.

Didn't Florante Condes also trained in ALA for his title bout in Mexico? Dang ... Bad Luck rubbed on him.

I symphatize with aj and mr. tony aldeguer. I think it all started with ala villamor who also failed to win a belt at madison square garden. So many ala boxers are failing when put at world boxing stage. It's almost like a jinx being an ala fighter fighting for a championship belt.

You're too fast to your conclusions. I thought you're gonna give us detailed reasons about your stand. I think you just emotional for the loss, that's it.

You hit it right on the button....

Even AJ's neighbors are now cursing him after the loss. Wait till he comes back in the winning column, these same people will be back in the bandwagon...and sing their praises of how "WORLD CLASS" his performances are.......and forget the coaches.....

And why do you think Milan Milendo is an exception, just because he won? Tell us, what technique was taught to Milan that was not taught to other ALA boxers?

Gorres - NO GASOLINA

Boom Boom - NO CHIN or PANGA puros PORMA

AJ - NO GASO and NO LAKAS NG LOOB (Heart, Determination)

Are these traits due to the fact that they have a poor coach/trainer?

OR

These boxers do not have what it takes?

No such thing as bad student... only bad teacher... teacher say... student do... wax in... wax off.... quote from Mr. Miyaji of the Karate Kid.... 8)

Just wondering... How many world champions has the Ala stable produced? This may answer some of the comments within this thread..
