Agree…in the same way as there can only be one Michael Jordan…not even the pathetic excellence of Kobe can claim a second best…

Manny is one of a kind…a gift to us…a gift to boxing…a mystery and source of envy to the boxing critics (in the web), and Pac-haters that thrives in Pacland…

There can only be one…Pacman…

That opportunity doesn't come always. That picture will always be a cherished memento, because you took that picture personally and not from any website.
I for one or any other forumers here would have taken it one step further, at least a handshake from Pacquiao and seeing there's a vacant seat wow! it's not everyday we get to get a picture with Pacquiao on our side.

There is no jinx in Manny Pacquiao's name.
It's because of the hype, knowing media has hyped any particular boxer to be the next MP and it got to that boxer's head.
Manny Pacquiao won't be happy if his name is said to be a jinx for our boxers. I think he wouldn't want our boxers not to suceed.

People are saying that this or that Filipino boxer can be the next Manny Pacquiao.

Common guys...Manny is a boxing phenomenon as they say. One that only comes in a couple of decades -- or maybe once in a lifetime. He is truly a natural Filipino wonder of the world. Can you tell me if there was ever a Filipino who has landed in the P4P top three before? Not to mention being on top of that list? Being considered the best of the best? Only Manny has achieved that! And the 4 belts in 4 divisions? A feat for an Asian fighter.

I'm not discounting the talents of our young Filipino fighters today. I know we can produce many world champions as we have been years before. It's ok to dream for a next Manny Pacquiao after he retires.. But i believe that dream is too far far away for now. Or it may never happen again.....

True there can never be another Manny, he set the standards of what "rags to riches" story is about. But everybody is hoping for another one simply because the more we have, the more joy and pride it will bring us.

Manny Pacquiao comes along once in a generation. There hasn't been a Filipino boxer this good since Flash Elorde 45 years ago. Will it take another 45 years?
