What's your take guys? I was thinking the nutrition and food intake is being handled strictly by nutrition experts....Sabotage?

Bad conditioning and body shots that knocked the wind out of him.

Does he have one? Also, it should not be a mystery at all. Punches to the body drains out more energy than being punched to the head. Look how Tony wore down Cotto. AJ let all those punches to land his sides.... and it was aggravated by that low blow. Probably, to improve on that, he has to take those regimens PAC did to strenghten his body. One doesn't need to be a boxing guru to know what caused Banal to be exhausted.

i heard that it's the food filipinos eat. in some other countries, they would eat steak which is more protein than carbohydrates.

If you want to see the fight again, i have uploaded an avi full fight at worldboxingvideoarchive.com

Poor Gameplan, poor pep talk, poor choice of opponent.

Banal wanted to finish his opponent quickly. It is either he disrespected his opponent as a usual patsy or he believed that he could KO his opponent easily coz his stable made him believe that he is really the 3rd coming of Manny Pacquiao after Boom Boom.

When Conception appeared to be a tough hombre that he took many of AJ's advances, AJ got confused and lost the steam.

AJ and Boom Boom both stalks patsy opponents but they are not used to TOUGH (MATIBAY SA LOOB) opponents that they get confused and run out of gas.

He must be like those amateur boxers residing in the Rizal Memorial which is not being fed up properly. Those guys end up eating in carinderia.

Overconfidence + Lack of gameness (hina ng loob) is the reason why he lost steam, got KDed and then quit.

As I have said on another thread before, Banal like Bautista should still be tested with a skilled more fighter. For me It is more reasonable for Bautista to lose to Ponce De Leon because De Leon is making his name and a natural power puncher. But for Banal, I don't think hes gonna make a name by losing to a unknown and upcoming boxer. As I see It Banal should adjust his training method, he should not be like Mike Tyson who rely mostly on his Power knowing he can KO his opponent in just four rounds. He should have the stamina to last 15 rounds if the case needed so.

AJ Banal's young body is not yet ready to take heavy punishment maybe, nutrition and conditioning method might not be handled by an expert.
