ALA has produced a lot of world contenders than the so-called Jaro Gym. I think most haters are coming from Luzon. I could not see a Bisaya hating his own.

It is really hard to train a boxer. I had a friend who has been into it and sometimes boxers themselves are stubborn. They have their own pride. AJ is one of them. Sometimes they have to lie in order not to make their corner disappointed. I do have to say that it is what makes the fighter fight even if one has already accumulated with lots of losses.

My overall opinion is that we really have to respect the fighters in the ring. Whether that fighter had a lot of L's in his card, that fighter still deserves with a lot of praise.

Sometimes, the victory of a fighter is not of having scored with a lot of points, but having lasted for 12 rounds. I considered it as a victory though even if the fight looks boring.

But once again, i said that it is really not easy to be a fighter. If they were given a chance, they would instead not fight. But their life and their future depends on it. Unless of course if there are other opportunities, then boxing will not have a lot of boxers anymore.

Since we're at it . . how about being not so critical of PGMA also . . . she's "supposed" to step down from the Presidency next year, anyway.
