Harry Tanamor lost to a boxer with good defense and not so much good timing. This time Tanamor did not have that good footwork and lateral movement. He played the aggressor but did not execute well. He is turning 30 and and this would be his last Olympic stint. In my opinion Mansueto Velasco is better than Harry Tanamor bar none.

Lets not depair we have the HUGE PACQUIAO that other countries of this earth dont have :beeh: Olympics is held every 4 years...hope would always spring eternal on us, Mabuhay pa rin ang Pilipinas!

I agree. Onyok is gifted with great stamina and constantly moves (I think he's hyperactive, like Manny). Harry Tanamor is just an average boxer with no natural physical gifts. I also think he has a lower boxing I.Q. compared to Onyok.

But I've got to give Tanamor a lot of credit though. His performance in the world championship was gutsy. But "guts" alone can only get you so far as David Diaz found out.

I'm not really sad as I'm not a big fan of amateur boxing. I liken it to playing tag.

Here we go again......utak talangka at work! Just because he lost, you find so many deficiencies already. How about you? Have you found job already? or you still under your mother's"saya". At least Tanamor achieved something that most of us dreamed of! He is down already, tinatapakan mo pa. Shame on you!
