He's still young. He can still improve. Remember, Pacquiao was once dropped on a body shot? The fight after the first ever loss is always critical. So it's important to fight the right opponent.

guys stop comparing AJ or anybody else to Pacman! deym how many times i have to hear this fawking sh1t!

Here's for your info. Yes, Manny was dropped by this Thailander Singurat by body shot because of dehydration to make the flyweight limit, it is not the same situation with AJ where he is winning the rounds until that fateful round. :(

AJ must take the critics as a challenge, he must not pressure himself just because he lost to El Torito, Even the great boxers in the world cant avoid losing, Muhammad ali, sugar ray leonard, manny pacquiao, oscar dela hoya, marvin hagler and etc. can prove that.

Banal needs to move on. He needs to focus and make some adjustments and go for those megabuck fights instead of wasting his effort on his vendetta.

Forget Conception. If he wants to prove himself he should go for Arce the conqueror of El Torito.

Thats the best idea if he wants just redemption, Arce is one tough hombre, but AJ has a good chance provided he can last the whole evening, because Arce will not be an easy job to dispose!
beating Arce will prove a lot of things.

This fight would be a hard one for AJ. Even so, if this will be held in Mexico. :boxing:

Very good idea, i hope AJ will learn this, He must fight back and if given a chance to face Arce then prove it, if you will beat Arce then theres no need to face El Torito unless El Torito will also keep on winning and both of them will become contender which they must fight again.

I think Jose Navarro (dili ang kapitan sa Ermita este Punta Princesa) would be a perfect tune up for Bazooka. Right Eric Gomez?

what's with trying to avenge a loss? for Banal's sake he should forget about concepcion, the guy just got TKO'd by Arce.

his handlers ang right in bringing his confidence back up.. slowly. I fully agree however I would like to think that his next opponents are legitimate boxers... I would hate to see his build up against far inferior boxers similar to what boom boom was given cause that would'nd do him any good.

It's not confidence only that has to be built back up, but more importantly he must learn how to fight intelligently.

Agree!

What for? It won't remove the loss from his record.

He should just try to move on and focus on better fights that will get him back on track.

I think he must do another 2 or 3 tune-up fight first before going for the title. :boxing:

Banal (17-1-1, 14 KOs) desires to reclaim his lost glory after suffering his first professional defeat to Concepcion (11-3-1, 7 KOs) who stopped him in the 10th round of their championship battle last July 26 at the Cebu Coliseum.
“We are really looking at a rematch with Concepcion. That’s what AJ wants that’s what everybody wants,” ALA Promotions President Michael Aldeguer told Sun.Star Cebu.
Concepcion suffered the same fate as Banal last Sept. 15 in Mexico City because he was beaten by Mexican brawler Jorge “El Travieso” Arce (50-4-1, 38 KOs) via a referee stoppage at the end of the ninth round after the ring physician said that the Panamanian wasn’t fit to continue.
Aldeguer believes they will not rush things for Banal and take it one step at a time before they pit the 19-year-old Cebuano with his tormentor.
“We’re going to give AJ one or two more fights and then assess how prepared he is mentally and physically to fight Concepcion,” said Aldeguer. “We’re going take this little by little. He must win convincingly in his comeback fight. We are still talking with Golden Boy on who we will match up with AJ.” Any comments  :D :D :D :D :D :)

it would be better if AJ fights ARCE . . .so that fight fans will enjoy :hammer:
