If you're talking about Banal, that certainly wouldn't be a bad idea. I'm sure the Mexican crowd would like him because he is a KO artist.

Maybe it can happen. Penalosa and Nietes are going to Mexico in early 2009 to defend their titles, maybe Banal can be in the undercard.

many said it's the hardest part of a
boxer to experience.

"AJ, lumabas ka na diyan. tigilan mo na

back soon, we're missing you. we want
you back in action again.

An ALA to AJ admonition, he said: “You never reach the top unless you reach the bottom.”

I got that straight from the article that ALA wasn't making excuses after Banal's loss.

I still believe AJ Banal has what it takes to be a champion one day. Just wrong game plan. Maybe a new set of trainers. Even Bautista, I am with Penalosa that this boy will be world champion someday. I regard Penalosa's opinion as scholarly. He knows what he is talking about. He could be wrong, but he should be correct most of the time. The problem is the same. How can you rely on a "friend" to be a cut man in a career defining fight? ALA should bring more trainers into their gym. Changes are hard to make. It is not easy to admit that their methods no longer work. When the competition was not that rigid, it worked. But only briefly. They did their fighters wrong when they limited themselves to one trainer. Everybody should sit their sights on Mindanao fighters now. Mindanao stables have a rich diversity of trainers. Cebu has stagnated.

He should be back. AJ is still very young. He shouldn't be discouraged.

AJ, you can eat all the tinola that you want for now. Basta sa training wag ka ng lumabas sa LA compound.

He still has a good chance to become a main-eventer. I hope they would at least make him get back his confidence by getting minor belts like OPBF and other continental belts. winning a belt is way better than just winning a tune up with a patsy latino. Time to beat those thais, japs and koreans again. He may even make a great career fighting down under. :?

To improve AJ Banal's stomach, would suggest that he keep on eating RICE-CORN. Can't you see, there were many boxers coming from Cebu.

Also to BoomBoom, who appeared to be a BLEEDER, you keep on eating MALUNGGAY LEAVES, SALAYOT & OKRA with Bagoong Dilis. Yan ang kinakain ni Macoy, kaya mahaba ang buhay !

You have to admit that Pac is blessed. But at the same time he works really hard, and is smart, or at least thinks and is confident in himself. Hard to ask the others to "be like Pac". One advise - focus on speed and stamina and not KO's. Even Tyson was actually speed, not just power.

We can put it this way, that AJ is more skillfull than Pacman during their start, or dare to say that even Boom Boom is better than Pac during their start. But one thing is certain, they do not have the Pacman's heart and spirit.
