If you will investigate more, majority of promoters do this...

It is one of the promotional schemes implemented by promotional companies to stay afloat with their business...

And who started it?...
It's the western promotions...

One advantage is that pitting a good boxer to pedicab drivers ads up to his resume of the number of wins so as to have better leverage in future negotiations...

Having a fearsome record when a boxer is not yet a champion sometimes drives away quality opponents unless the opponent is confident he can beat that fearsome boxer...

If a promoter can't find quality opponents for his boxer, he will be compelled to find the next logical opponent available for his fighter to make him stay in shape...

Today, promoters control boxing...

I agree with your statement. This is really what happens. The bad thing is that when the boxer is ready it's taken away opportunity to fight the best to further excel its talent or skill. Parang sa prutas, ok lang na papahinugin kasi hilaw pa, pro pag sobrang hinog at di nakain bubulok at masasayang lng.

And problema sa ALA puro sila play safe, tapos pinapaniwala nila yung mga utu-utong ticket buyers na good match-up yung pairings nila...sana mas marami pang Karma ang aanihin ng ALA promomotions

I'm pretty sure ALA just made an honest mistake last time, that's why they open the gate for free. Karma? I don't think so., ALA is one of the filipino boxing promotion company that support the livelihood of our boxers so why the hate.

Plenty of reasons to hate...If somebody CAN'T become an elite no matter how hard they try (like Boom Boom Airhead Bum for example)....Ditch the Kid and find another prospect, simple as that, ALA is the primary reason why local boxing has became laughably bad...And now, they want the REAL Genaro to prove that Boom Bum can beat a worthy opponent...for Christ's sake, Who is this Genaro???? the guy isn't even well-known and now plans of staging a PINOY PRIDE 21 (or whatever the heck they may want to call it) is looming...Gimme a fckng break ... ALA isn't helping at all, they aren't raising the bar, If I can spell the Word 'Mediocrity' in just 3 letters, it's ALA>>>> ALANG KAKWENTA-KWENTA ... I AM PRAYING FOR THEIR IMMEDIATE BANKRUPTCY ...Seriously :?

Jaro Stable is working with Zanfer and Canelo Promotions.

Their boxer with not so good record now became a world champion, it's all because Sonny boy has the guts, heart and determination!

ALA boxers may have decorated ring records, but they're not pursuing for real challenges.

ALA giving their boxers livelihood? But they're feeding them patsies.

If Jaro had lost, writers like Ed dela Vega would be quick to condemn why GAB allows to send bum boxers to Thailand.
