if this fight was done years back i would say AJ banal has no chance at all.

nowadays however, darchi has lost a step or two and AJ improved as a boxer.

darchi is still favored to win this fight but AJ has a chance, at least 30-40% chance imho.

legs are spread too wide apart--prone to fast fading because they consume alot of energy when they ducked the opponents punches

Aj Banal has a chance if he can connect for the first half of the fight. He has a heavier punch than Z Gorrez so Im giving him a 80% chance.

while it may be true that banal has a heavier punch than gorres, he does not have the poise, counterpunching skills and overall technique of Z.

the way I see it, AJ is not in the same league as Donaire, Mares or Agbeko. but why should AJ, or his handlers, even think of fighting Vic at this point if Banal is already lined up for a title fight? it's a high-risk, low-reward proposition.

You have to take a risk to become great. like pacquiao did against ledwaba.

Bro, Ledwaba was the champ when Pacquiao fought him. That's not the same as AJ fighting Vic at this point because Darchinyan isn't even a champion.

Yes, I understand that Darchinyan is not a champion right now. Darchinyan was a former champion. I just wanna see how Banal does against a former world champion.
