It doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to predict the outcome of the fight weeks ago. Good there was no serious injury.

Banal is a good boxer but boxing is not just about throwing punches, one must learn or must have the ability to receive as well. Even the best defensive boxers gets hit by solid shots.

Boxers like Banal and Boom will never be in the elite level.

 E pano nman mananalo ng WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE ang mga "top" boxers ng ALA gym e ung coach nga nila ay hanggang WORLD TITLE CHALLENGER lamang..(boom-boom bautista vs de leon, gorres vs darchinyan, banal vs concepcion) excuse me to say this but parang pinapasa lang ung 'curse' o fate sa mga tinuturuan na boksingero... i think they need to hire a WORLD CLASS TRAINER with excellent resume, kung pwede sana ay naging WORLD CHAMPION....
Donnie AHAS Nietes keep it up kahit d ka ganun kasikat like ur other stable mates...

opinion lang galing sa nagmamalasakit at nagmamahal sa Pinoy Boxing.... i hope many pinoy WORLD CHAMPS soon..... :)

Any comment from Boom Boom?

yeah when AJ Banal got knocked out in the 10th round by Rafael Concepcion in Cebu City for the WBA World super flyweight title..
nangyari din yan sa Phil vs Mexico kung saan si Boom Boom naging bum.

Overrated fighters!
that's true bro. very unforgettable
that was in Sacramento, CA where 5 Mexicans were pitted against 5 pinoys
All 4 pinoys won except for the main event where boom-boom was knocked out in the first round by Daniel Ponce de Leon, tsk...tsk...tsk

What! I thought he would win this finally.

the Thai was just too good, he knew he was the underdog and had to knockout AJ..

The thai is not that good..he lost his title just recently in unknown boxer...he is just a psychological boxer...AJ is good in fighting skills but got intimidated when he cannot KO his opponent in the early round...that's what AJ is...change his mindset,..all ALA fighter must change their mindset in figting just like fighting for life..just like, if they lose, they got killed..just like fighters in the classical era like gladiator, etc...fihting for life...that's what motivation comes in....
