Boom Boom is a bum really, and Banal has no stamina. What else to expect from ALA who is promoting the wrong boys ? Nice of them to be good to their boys, but they don't know quality.

They never learn.

The other guy they have which I really believed is much better than his contemporaries at the stable was Z Gorres.

However, Gorres lost a fight he should've won. Bad luck.

They finally manage to make a guy a champion and he's really nothing special.

Hopefully Genesis Servania becomes what his other stablemates can't. I like that kid.

back to waterfront.....

it's time for AJ to spread his wings and try to campaign in the states. ALA is a good starting ground but they have to move on as well. Boom boom also has to try a different approach. A change of scenery could probably do all of them good.

ALA pads the record of its boxers and when they face semi world class competition they get knocked out. That stable has to be disbanded for the good for Philippine boxing.

i was there watching it live. doc ed dela vega cannot stop the bleeding. the boxer from thailand took advantage of it until AJ cannot see the punches because the cut is so bad and the bleeding was a total mess.

everyone in the arena knew daniel ruiz won the fight. heck, we cheer for boom boom to go for the knockout. but in the end, boom boom got his early christmas gift. one of the judges scored it 116-112 for boom boom. something that i cannot understand.

hometown decision.. hehe ang ala di na natuto.. nilalaban mga boxers sa mga magtataho... paG world title fights na ayun dedo na.. tignan mo c banal hehee

In fairness to Boom2 naman, Ruiz must've outweighed him by no less than 15 lbs. It was close, and Boom2 showed some signs of maturation and a bit better stamina against a guy who is no patsy and who outweighed him by nearly 20 lbs... Leaves much to be desired though...
