i dont think he quit this time around, he's just not good enough. i heard he was showboating in this fight too, thinking he's winning. heck, this Thai opponent was unranked and his promoters moved heaven and earth to make it easy for AJ, giving the hometown advantage. Even with all these things, he can't win the fight.

I think from now, its will be hard for him to get another title shot. Jason Pagara might be the next guy.

thats not true. This thai has only 1 loss and more than 40 wins and 28 ko? before the fight. what the heck r u talking that he was unranked. mamen..compare their stats before u talk.

Sor Singyu has a bright future with the win vs. Banal

if he moves up to superbantamweight he may fight those big names like Rigondeaux, Abner Mares, Nonito, Nishioka and even Jorge Arce...

of course, he should fight and beat those bantamweight fighters like Anselmo Moreno, Joseph Agebeko, Yamanka and Kameda to solidify his name...

for AJ Banal, it's not over yet, too young, many fights to come, I think he needs to change training regimen especially his conditioning and stamina building, his skills is there but there is still more room to improve...

ALA should hire a good strength and conditioning coach like Alex Ariza (Pacman), Michael Bazzel (Filipino Flash) or Angel Herrida (Juan Manuel Marquez)...
