I've read that darchi would be fighting for the IBF superfly title this june..
and aj would be fighting for IBF superfly eliminaor. so if aj wins and darchi wins also wins, would it be AJ vs Darchi?!

this would be a good fight.. wat do you think guys?
:D

like i said in the previous thread, aj banal hasn't been tested as a pro... he hasn't fought a championship caliber fighter... darchinyan is a high caliber guy, a former world champion... he may not have the prettiest defense, but i must say that the guy packs a wallop... banal has a chance if they meet right now... however, the odds are definitely in favor of darchinyan... banal needs to fight a couple of high caliber fighters to see whether or not he's the real deal... i say fight someone like jose navarro, to see what aj banal is really made of... if he passes that test convincingly then he might be ready to face a big time fighter like a darchinyan... :D

He (Darchi) must wear a bullet proof vest also, and some mineral water bottle protection in case they fight in Cebu!!

who has more k.o. power among the two? aj or nonito?
nonito ko'ed darchi because of good timing and enough power.
darchi can't ko nonito cos nonito's too fast for him.

aj, times his punches well at good angles. so both aj and nonito are good at timing their punches, aj meanwhile has much more power than nonito.
defensewise, nonito has good footwork to evade punches, while aj doesn't have lazy defense cos he keeps his hands up backs up then fires the counter punches from either left or right hand both having power.

during those times nonito was still unheard of, darchi was said to have the edge of that fight. and then he was exposed. there's no way darchi, the way he has been exposed, has the edge over aj.

If Donaire KOd Darchi, AJ will also KO Darchi because AJ is deadlier than Donaire.

It could be a massive win for AJ Banal against Darchi.

Nice matchup, but I still think AJ still a fight away before Darchinyan.

Winnable fight. Pacdabest is not the only 1 to predict ND would KO Vic. I predicted on ESB Aussie boxing forum that Vic will pay for his lack of defense. Anyway, Vic is getting old the power remains that's the only danger. But, he hasn't demonstrated the 1 punch KO, through-out his career. I have seen him since the beggining of his career here in Australia. He was worse then than now.I thought he would've loss to pacheco if it weren't for the fireworks going off. Which halted the fight for 5 minutes, in turn giving Vic a breather, he looked like he was on his way to getting stopped for the IBF flyweight belt. Look let's see how he goes against Kirilov first. Based on what I have seen so far Catubay and Z dropped. He is chinny. I agree always best for Aj to get a solid test first. Look at Boom he had problems against MEdina the signs were there that he would get in trouble against the elites..

If AJ is tasked to fight the winner between Kirilov and Darchi, AJ has better chances against Darchinyan.

Darchinyan will always forget his defense when trying to be offensive, and AJ has good timing and counter punching skill. My only fear here is how will AJ handle the dirty tactics, and rough shod bullying that Darchi will employ. That's why I still wanted AJ to be tested more against quality opponents to test his reaction on different tactics that would be employed by opponents. But if they do fight on, I think AJ will still win this bout.

Anyway, I don't think Darchinyan will win against Kirilov. Kirilov has tight defense and not one to panic easily.
