That was SO cool. I was reading where Women's Grandmaster Jennifer Shahade gives the final position in this Carlsen triump over Bill Gates. Gates was apparently doing okay until his penultimate move:)

Shahade is so cool. She commentated the final game that Carlsen played in America at the Sinquefield open against Hikaru Nakamura. GM Wesley should have been there too.

Yes, it was under 30 seconds!!! Carlsen is AWESOME. Gates played Nxne5, mated Qh2#.

I think Bill Gates should have just resigned, imho.

Talking of our new chess champ, has anyone else here heard about Carlsen and Jennifer Shahade's new math game, Yamie Chess?

Carlsen is helping kids get into math and science education in school, I think this was created with Jennifer Shahade and some math educators in America, from Harvard and MIT. PatrickJMT on YouTube (the math educator guy posted some stuff about it today)

It's interesting too, because Bill Gates is big into helping kids get into education with his Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. Maybe Carlsen is following in his footsteps afterall. I salute you, GM Carlsen:)

I think Bill Gates was overwhelmed by playing the world champion, he is supposed to be a very good chess player. It just goes to show that losing can happen to you even when you have $70 billion
