mismong si Magnus kinuhang coach si Kaspa....

imagine that, the reigning World Champ, lording it over by miles over the rest of the field, still feeling the need for a coach

at hindi lang basta bastang coach, si Garry pa

I believe it's time for Wes to get a coach again....if trust is an issue, he can go slowly...until he feels he can fully trust the coach...

but going it alone would never cut it, in my opinion......he needs another pair of eyes (and brains) to scan the latest opening theory, prepare profiles of tournament opponents, hone his white and black repertoire etc....

Siya na rin ba coach ni Wes?

Wesley now reaches round 4 in FIDE 2019 World Cup by beating India's no. #3. If I am not mistaken, he will be facing one of the Russian's rising chess player. But I maybe wrong though.

Vitiugov ang susunod na kalaban ni Wesley. No. 6 ng Russia, but not a rising star--32 years old na siya.

1-0 in favor of vitiugov. Coincidence lang siguro to but pansin ko lang on two occassions, every time may good news sa pagkapanalo ni wesley, biglang natatalo naman next game :). Anyway, good luck kay wesley sa next game.

Wesley has won again against Carlsen.

3 straight wins against Carlsen in Fischer Random World Championship with dominating performance and good endgame technique.

It's 10.5 - 1.5 in favor of Wesley.

Edit: Race to 12 points

Wesley on the verge of winning the FIDE Fischer Random World Chess Championship. He needs 2 points (a win or 2 draws) to beat Magnus and claim the top prize. Magnus, on the other hand, needs to win practically all the games to force Armaggedon.

It's time to change the Title of this thread. Wesley is now a world champion and it happened so quickly. We never saw it coming.
