any updates from GM Oliver Barbosa? I think he is also in competitive chess with other GM..

Bro TS, maybe we should allow GM Barbosa to slowly reach ELO 2600 level first before 2700. One step at a time. :)

I have created this thread because i find GM barbosa to easily hit the SGM considering he had just got his 3rd and final GM norm this 2011.. i also find GM barbosa's moves more complex than GM So as of this date we dont know maybe eventually as GM So will mature with coach polgar..

Nice idea, although too early. But for being a Pinoygreat athlete, I would love to see GM Barbosa reach the SGM then HGM levels soon.

GM Barbosa is a pure blooded filipino just like GM Torre why not we also support him as how we are supporting GM So towards 2700 ELO HGM..

I like the style of Barbosa.. laban kung laban win or loss... si GM So ngayon parang parating playing safe parating draw natatakot mag take risk.. siguro parating inisip kapag natalo bumaba ang ELO rating..
