Admit it guys JML is just tough. The least what ABE has done is to expose that JML is not invincible. He could be KO in any match. I don't think he has a glass chin - he was just caught by surprise. IMO JML's reign will continue until he step up to the lightweight. His sized is too big for the lower weightclass.

yup i agree. lopez does not have a glass chin, what abe has shown is that he exposed lopez and done away that invincible aura he has due to that tough gorilla pokerface of his.

Correct sir JML is tough but not invincible i wish the ref did not stopped at that moment giving Abe one more hit

or it was just a perfect counter-punch
Juan Ma got caught with a perfect punch but quickly recovered
Concepcion was almost knockdown 3 times in the first round
if you're facing an opponent with above average punching power anything can happen

being able to recovered from a knockdown and coming back strong only shows how tough you are as a fighter. Remember Israel Vasquez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Acelino Freitas, and Diego Corales.

I love your positive attitude. :)

BUT Abe got his butt whooped... got dropped numerous times, and lost to the better man who managed to handle the one big shot he took.

On paper it looks bad for Abe, but he did still give a good show and Juanma a run for his money... be it for less than 6 minutes.[/quote]

These are nice comments ... and am happy that still a lot of members were in the right senses!!! That was awesome Fight... we should be proud of our Filipino Boxers!!! i will only hate boxers when they cheat even if it's Filipino

concepcion was already hazy at the time he hit juanma....that says a lot about juanma's chin and if he wasn't hit in the final seconds and saved by the bell it will be a different story ....if that was a fresh abe that hit him....juanma is a goner.

i'm not taking anything away from juanma, no doubt he is a very skilled fighter than abe.... his win is a well deserved one...i'm just pointing out his vulnerability.

even if you stunned a boxer or knocked him down once, twice or more there's no guarantee that the fight is over or your opponent is finished. The way Juan Ma recovered from that punch and dominate the rest of the fight only proved that he also has good conditioning. Even if Abe was the one to scored the 1st knockdown there's no guarantee that he can win the fight. There are a lot of competitive fights at 126 and 130 and yes Juan Ma is getting vulnerable as he gets tougher competition but to say that he has a glass chin based on his fight with Abe is just unproven yet.

I don't think so. Remember, Abe has heavy hands and caught him clean.
