according to the article i read at philboxing he gave the first early rounds to the bum journeyman oppoent. ibig sabihin nag-aantay na naman sa wala ang mokong. counter-punching pero di naman nakukuha ang round. ngek.

sinasayang lang ang opportunity. any unknown boxer would trade places with him and they won't waste the chance pacquiao gave him.

The fact is that Abe was fighting a 17(wins)-13(losses)-1(draw) bum. :( :( :(

What a wasted opportunity for Abe. I saw the fight last night on ESPN2, and Abe looked like he didn't care anymore.

He wasn't throwing punches, and was constantly on his guard.

It's pretty disappointing. That may be it for Bernabe in the US. It's back to the Philippines for him to rebuild.

Good-bye to his ranking as the 8th best Featherweight, according to the Ring Magazine.

typical pinoy performance...slower guy getting schooled by a quicker, businer, slithery fighter with head movement. Pinoys are too slow footed, inaccurate punchers who get rattled by someone who knows how to box.

that is the stereotypical pinoy boxer right now except for Pac and Nonito.

All these guys fight the same way like Bernabe Concepcion, Drian Francisco, Rodel Mayol, Johnriel Casimero.....etc etc etc Slow, waiting for a KO to happen, no idea how to adjust in the ring, very unskilled technically.

these boxers are not ready. they need better training from world class trainers. They dont deserve a title shot so soon in their career!
