He should instill in his mind "If Salido could do it, I can do it too". . . of course, he should back this up with mental toughness, dedication and sacrifice concommitant to his profession.

advise him not to visit Pinoygreats

seriously... you can't teach heart & passion in the game.
but if you have it... then you probably don't need confidence.

"The media attention. It's only good when your winning, but when you're winning, it's great. When you're losing around here, you're a complete bum."

CARSON PALMER, interview, Nov. 4, 2002

It's Abe himself who can answer this question,
He can ponder it and feel what's good for his future,
He lost to great fighters like JuanMa and Mikey Garcia,
Nothing to be ashamed though,he wasn't afraid to face these
dangerous and powerful warriors.
Before Flash Elorde and the great Pacquiao became champs, they
have had incurred numerous loses,
But they didn't surrender the challenge and worked hard to attain
their world titles and undying legacies.
Abe should strive to have a stronger chin and better footwork,
Train and fight like there's no tomorrow and face worthy opponents,
His success lies in his own hands but if despite all his motivations,he
still fails and suffer successive loses,
Then he must realize it's the end of his limitations as a boxer
and decide what's good for his health and future. 8)

A pretty movie starlet as girlfriend should boost Abe's confidence. Look how Valerie, Krista, Ara boosted someone's confidence!

Abe can eat those food, and probably tried it already. But in Abe's religion he is not allowed to eat balut or dinuguan...

if abe wants to continue in boxing he needs to have a serious pondering. being 24 with 6 defeats and couple of devastating ko's does made a lot of damage and seriously hurting his marketability. remember where in golden age of fil boxing. and i believe filipinos are given a descent highlight for bigger fights. abe unfortunately wasted it. we cannot compare abe to jaro or other boxers who got up just because of argument that they had losses. chances are those boxers who redeemed themselves had a very fortunate luck along their way. and does luck always happen.kaya nga abe should have deep pondering, first if he still want this sport and second how far can he go not to rely on luck but on sheer determination to win.

Your suggestion bro.nonong could spell success or downfall for Abe.

Valerie-gave the player a superb shooting prowess but he's now injured
and can't even dunk a shot.
Krista- encouraged the athlete to ignore becoming a Fil-Am.
Ara- enhanced the athlete to become a better speedball puncher.
Jinkee- converted the athlete from a cocklover to a bible preacher.
BIR- shifted the investigation from a SC chief justice to a lawmaker.
