bakit si freddie mismo ang nanggagaya din? kon pakinggan mong mabuti ang guitar plucking niya sa Anak, obviously he is using the guitar plucking of Jim Croce. so siya mismo ang manggagaya din.

Overrated lang si Freddie.. yong kanta anak niya is a nice story but poor in music. ginagamit lang niya ang patern sa intro hanggang sa katapusan. walang variation. poor in musicality, poor in musical arrangement.

Bro, it depends nmn sa nakikinig yan, for me. I'm more of the content of the song kesa kung paano yung pag plucking or pag hampas ng drums.

I know bro, bisaya ka din, so alam mo din siguro yung Bisrock? Most of the musicality is copied pero yung meaning ng songs are the one that struck most audience kaya sumikat din at one point.

Sa dami na ng kanta, I think wala nmn sigurong tono or kung ano pang plucking na original. :D

brod, ang punto ko lang ay why did he boldly criticized charice and arnel for imitating their idols and named them UNGOY? siya mismo ay nanggagagaya din. yes, i'm a bisaya, in fact nahirapan akong magtagalog. tanggapin natin na maraming mga badoy na OPM pero marami namang excellent opm songs na pwde nating ipagmalaki. sa totoo lang marami akong napakinggan mga OPM music na napakaganda talaga ng melodiya at musical arrangement, nagtataka lang ako bakit hindi ito sumikat at mas na appreciate pa ang mga walang kwentang kanta.

yes, alam ko ang bisrock and missing felimon is my favorite bisayan band. i appreciate the musicality and music sensibility of the composer.

lastly brad, sa kanta hindi lyrics ang pagbabasihan. a song became a song not because of the lyrics written on it, in fact you can write a song without any written lyrics like for the example (ballad for adeline, song for ana). according to JOHN LENNON, PAUL MCCARTNEY, BARRY GIBB, MICHAEL JACKSON, ELTON JOHN who are the world greatest musicians in pop music history "MUSIC IS THE LANGUAGE OF A SONG". do you know LUDWIG VAN BETHOBEEN? he was the greatest composer in classical music history wrote all his song in a music alone without any lyrics on it (INSTRUMENTAL ONLY).

Gangnam Style clicked not because of its Korean lyrics
but because of its musicality. You could replace Korean with
French, Russian, Swahili, and wait--even Tagalog (or any
local dialect) and the music (video) would still click.

It is rap, a genre that's attuned to the standards of the
day. Plus, it helps that the artist Psy winks at the listening
audience when he does his spiel. The song doesn't take itself
seriously rather with levity and plays it to the hilt-...
The horse dance! Really now. Watch the video again.

Silly always has its place in the cockles of a fun-loving
heart.

As long as the melody, harmony, and tempo of the song is
universal, a song in any language will work and will be embraced--
Pie Jesu, La Vie en Rose, and someone mentioned, Dahil sa Iyo,
as examples. Silent Night is originally German.

The real test for Psy(cho) is if he records another song in
Korean that will top the Billboard charts, again. If he does,
then Freddie Aguilar can start gloating. Otherwise, the
William Hung effect only proves itself right--yet again.
The Macarena would be so proud.

Madonna performed with Korean rapper Psy during her concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The two performed the song "Give It 2 Me" and Psy's hit dance craze "Gangnam Style." Umagang Kay Ganda, November 15, 2012

remember this comment by ka freddie that almost everyone laughed at?

Quote:
“Kasi, di ba, what monkeys see, monkeys do.

Rapper PSY sang his way to the billboard charts growling in mostly korean lyrics, yet the world is dancing to it...

Tsismis lang yan, I think.
Btw, a friend of mine went to see a Mariah concert in Anaheim.
They caught her lipsynching. What a beeyotch.
They were so disappointed. The diva did not feel like singing that day.

Typical reactions from pinoys when criticized, they get furious instead of taking criticisms as a challenge and a motivation to improve.
