Yes bro, I agree. It's like Roger Federer the greatest Tennis Player of all time and up to now still competing but the Americans will not accept that because R.Federer is not American.

But that's ok, the true hardcore fight/boxing fans know/knew the truth about boxing.

he will not surpass muhammad ali, period. stop using race card

Why MP can't surpass? what is that race card?

We'll just wait and see and enjoy watching the active, real exciting action pack P4P king for now.

Let's see...

* 4 lineal title
* 7 division world title

With just those two unique accomplishments, if he isn't yet, then he will never be.

plus 3x FOY, hopefully MP will going to win his 2 or 3fights this year so he will get his 4x FOY, one and only in history of boxing IF MP captured his 4th FOY award.

IF ever MP has not yet surpass the Great M.Ali, I'm pretty sure after his 1,2,3 or 4 fights he will beat it.

who has to vote on this poll ? can fasn vote? if yes you can have the pachuggers mess up the poll by voting mutiple times,

PACMAN MIGHT SURPASS ALI BUT IF YOU BASED IT ON POLLS IT WONT BE ACCURATE BECAUSE PACHUGGERS ALWAYS , MESS UP THE POLLS EVEN TIME POLL THEY MESS IT UP SO WE WILL NEVER KNOW THE REAL OPINION OF FANS . one and only 4division Lineal/the man who beat the man Champion
one and only 7division world Champion
3x Fighter of the year same as M.Ali, JFrazier, Eholyfield. but IF MP going to win his fightS this year.That's yes.
He will be the one and only fighter to ever win 4x FOY award.

Plus as i have written already that MP is still going to fight 3 or more. Only pachaters will contradict.
Truth hurts.

What do you mean by surpass? if it's achievement inside the ring-- knocking out future hall of famers in impressive way on the way to 7 titles in 7 division, pound for pound champion, even box office or ticket sales -- Pacman has already surpassed Ali. :D

I'm very curious, how???

I'm sure you're already familiar with Manny's achievements, so there's no need for me to enumerate everything.

Here's a list of Muhammad Ali's formidable opponents in the GOLDEN ERA OF HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION(probably the best in any era) in case you don't know;

1.) Sonny Liston (Hall of Famer, no. 71 ATG, no. 15-Greatest Punchers of all time list)
Ali defeated him twice inside the distance, the only man to stop Liston.
2.) Archie Moore (Hall of Famer, no. 14 ATG, no. 4 -Greatest Punchers of all time list)
Ali predicted he would knock Moore out in the 4th round. He delivered.
Moore has more knockouts than any fighter in boxing history. 131 out of 185 wins.
3.) Bob Foster (Hall of Famer, no. 55 ATG, no. 17 - Greatest Punchers of all time list)
One of the best Light Heavyweights of all-time
4.) Joe Frazier (Hall of Famer, no. no. 42 ATG, no. 26 - Greatest Punchers of all time list)
Ali had 2 wins against one loss record with Frazier.
5.) George Foremann (Hall of Famer, no. 25 ATG, no. 9- Greatest Punchers of all time list)
Ali came in as a huge underdog and was the only man to ever stop Foreman.
6.) Floyd Patterson (Hall of Famer)
Ali won, TKO 7.
7.)Ken Norton (Hall of Famer)
2 wins, 1 loss.

Other defeated opponents worthy of note;
- Ernie Shavers ( no. 10 Greatest Punchers of all time list)
Regarded by Ali and Larry Holmes as the hardest-hitting Heavyweight they had ever faced
- Cleveland Williams ( no. 49 Greatest Punchers of all time list)

Other defeated notable former champ/contenders:
-power punching Ron Lyle and Zora Folley, Leon Spinks, Jimmy Ellis, Jimmy Young( he defeated George Foreman), George Chuvalo, Jerry Quarry, Joe Bugner, Chuck Wepner.

Other notable losses;
1.) Larry Holmes (Hall of Famer, no. 27 ATG)
2.) Trevor Berbick (Heavyweight champ)
3.) Leon Spinks (Heavyweight Champ)

Professional Achievements:

* Three-time World Heavyweight Champion
* Won twenty-two World Heavyweight Championship fights

Awards and Recognition

* Named The Ring Fighter of the Year for 1963, 1974, 1975 and 1978
* Named Boxing Writers Association of America Fighter of the Year for 1965, 1974 and 1975
* Proclaimed "Fighter of the Decade" (1970s) by The Ring
* Won the Boxing Writers' Association of America James J. Walker Memorial Award for 1984
* Named the greatest heavyweight of all-time by The Ring in 1998
* Named the greatest heavyweight of the 20th century by the Associated Press
* Named "Athlete of the Century" by GQ magazine
* Named "Sportsman of the 20th Century" by Sports Illustrated
* Named "Sports Personality of the Century" by the BBC

*Regarded by boxing experts, writers, historians and fans as the greatest Heavyweight boxer of all time. Presently ranked no. 3 in the ATG list.
*Known to have fought the best fighters in his era without ducking anybody.
*He lost only to former or current Heavyweight Champs.

He surpassed Ali in entertainment value, Ali has too many boring fights since he often hugs his opponents when tired, Pacman is entertaining bec. of his style and stamina. But he cannot surpass Ali's gift of gab or articulateness.

-I don't know where you got your basis but regardless of Ali's style, rather less exciting compared to Manny according to you, he always attracted noted celebrities and sports luminaries during his fights. Every major fight he participated in the states and outside was considered a huge event. Fans came in droves. That said, Ali must have been entertaining in his own right, don't you think so?

Whether Ali hugs or kisses his opponent in a "boring" fight shows no indication that he isn't as effective as Manny. As long as he gets the victory in the end, be it decision or knockout, that's all that matters. Styles make fights sometime.

For your info, ALI fought in 15 rounds most of the time. This is the only time i heard someone questioning his stamina.

In my humble opinion, THE PACMAN had surpassed ALI's legacy in the ring, but outside it, I believe pac as of yet still have to prove his worth.

Ali's charisma and legacy outside the ring made him the most famous and admired boxer in his generation. How he fought discrimination and defy the government's policy just to stand by his principle are the very reasons that made him the greatest.

Muhammad Ali transcended boxing in the world stage. His social influence was far more than Pacquiao will ever reach. The name Ali resonates in all corners of the world. Ali is so revered right now by boxers both past and active. Not sure if Pacquiao will ever get that same sense of reverence.

That's simply because of the hype and the people who supported that hype.

Pacquiao may not be a hype kind of person like Ali. But like Sugar Ray Robinson, Pacquiao has already made a stunning world accomplishments and ring prowess that no other boxers has ever achieved. Pacquiao is revered by many people in a different manner not the same as Ali but is very much considerable for such reverence equal to or better than that of Ali. IMO.
