He deserves it. He's done more for Gen San in the last century than anyone from there.

Senyor BCngSPC! How are you? Wow! It's been a long time since I've seen your post here in Pacland. Kinda missed your "qualified opinion" on relavant matters.

Best regards,

I consider these lines as the more revealing portion of the news article . . .

Pacquiao also assured his thousands of fans here, who patiently waited for his arrival from Manila on Friday, that his next two fights will be equally exciting.

“After which, I will retire…. But not because of politics,” he said.

If Oscas de la Hoya and Michael Jordan have their own, I see no reason why Pacman shouldnt have one. Its a way of recognizing not necessarily Manny but somebody with great accomplishments and contributions to humanities. With his present status - ( rags to riches )- a great story taken from a page of Filipino and Mexicans telenovela, his perseverance is worthy of emulation and would surely serve as an inspiration not only to the Filipino youth but to others as well. When Manny and us are gone, at least other or future generations have somebody to look up to.

Yes you're right! I just hope that Manny will use his money wisely so he won't end up miserable.
