I like Buboy's instructions to Pac after the 3rd round. It sounded a bit obscene if you didn't know the context: "Laruin mo... labas-pasok, labas-pasok." He he he.... (Oh, gawd, me and my dirty mind! LoL.)

Lederman: "3-nothing... Not only clean punches, ring generalship when he turns the guy."

Sky Sports quotes:

"Oh so sharp, Manny Pacquiao keeps putting the rounds away. This is beginning to look bit of a hopeless case for de la Hoya now. And who would've thought we'd be saying that?"

"Millie de la Hoya is there with a very long face. So too Richard Schaffer the president of Golden Boy Promotions. They are seeing the boss taking a bit of a beating here."

More sky sports quotes:

"He can't even get close to Pacquiao...He makes him look like a novice...He just doesn't know how to make the first move..."

"It's just a shell of the Golden Boy and he's taking a bit of a beating there and I just wonder that it might even get to the point where they think of throwing in the towel because Pacquiao is giving him a lesson here."

Getting towards the end, Sky Sport quotes:

"His left eye is closing (ODLH) now to add to the many, many problems. There are 50 more seconds left on the clock and Pacquiao's playing with him."

"He's never, ever been able to corner Pacquiao. Pacquiao's been like a little wasp around him. throwing in stinging shots all night long."

Sky Sports with Ricky Hatton as guest Commentator:

Commentator: Ricky what do you make of this, it's amazing isn't it?

Hatton: It is unbelievable. It is embarrassingly one sided now I'm afraid to say about Oscar. He just looks like...Oscar has got no reaction whatsoever. He just can't get out of the away from the left cross...let's watch the replay here...Bang right down the pipe again, he just can't get out of the way. it's a shame to see, really.

Sky Sports with Ricky Hatton as guest Commentator:

Commentator:Should they pull him out, Ricky Hatton?

Ricky: I think they should have pulled him out 2 rounds ago. It's a shame.

Ricky Hatton's thoughts after ODLH quits on his stool:

Ricky Hatton:" P4P he proved it again that he's the number one in the...in the sport and uh...I still gonna get my dream of...uhm...being the best P4P fighter in the world...Commentator interrupts, "against Manny Pacquiao you mean?" Yeah, exactly...I mean...I must admit it we're probably looking at a modern great phenomenon, really...won his first world title at fly weight and to do that to Oscar de la Hoya...phenomenal is a word used too often in boxing but without real meaning...but I mean, that was outstanding. Modern great, really. That's what he is.

Lampley: "In terms of power shots, Öscar dela Hoya's already been touched up more by Manny Pacquiao than he was against Floyd Mayweather for the whole fight"! (at the last 43 seconds of the 4th round).
