Oscar choked big time - he did not live up to his golden standard. Many gullible and misinformed betters lost big time.

Exactly.
When was the last time Oscar won a superfight against a fighter in his prime????

Exactly. NEVER. Yes, NOT ONCE.

so. ODLH is on the downward side...still he said that he feels great at welterweight level and can be very competitive...thus he just made the weight and left his skills...

Oscar always lies.
He's known to be a faker.
After his loss to Tito, he claimed he thought he won. Yet, he fired his trainer Gil Clancy.
After he lost to Mosley, he cried and claimed he was robbed.
Mayweather Sr later on became his seventh trainer.
Then he claimed Beristain was the man during his camp for this fight.
He got to 147 weeks before the fight.
He claimed he was in great shape.
Maybe he thought he did.
Until those body punches made him pee blood and sapped out his energy.

over training weakened him...a valid excuse for not throwing enough punches...

TS, Oscar did throw a lot of punches. In fact in the total punches thrown, Pac 585, while Oscar 402. But the difference lies on the punches landed, 83 out of 402 (21%) for Oscar while Manny has 38% accuracy with 224 punches connected out of 585.

Read the Compubox report to be enlightened.

ODLH was fit and in fighting form, Manny was just more fit and in better form. That's all it was. :-D

ODLH is a great boxer he did his big share to make the sport alive and well..his mind tells him to fight but there isn't much response by the body...he fought gallantly to a much younger and faster opponent...you are still my idol... :D

If you watched the 24/7 he seems to be in pretty good shape there. Although we don't see everything he does but he has 2 trainers. So its just bad planning and bad preparation. And MP had the perfect fighting plan and preparation. :D
