The Mexicutioner is also a certified Briticutioner!
Pacquiao scored a stunning 10th round technical knock-out over British brawler Ricky Hatton, becoming the asia's first five-division champion and the first man to challenge the resume of the great Henry Armstrong as boxing's greatest. It could be well remembered that in 2008, Pacquiao won the WBC superfeatherweight belt in March, annexed the WBC lightweight belt in June, and humiliated the Golden Boy in their December encounter at welterweight. The May 2, 2009 showdown was his four different weight classes in just a span of 15 months.
Coming off from respective wins, the two warriors enter the ring both hungry to win in the match dubbed as "East meets West". A title which sounds more of an NBA All-star game than what could be one of the biggest match-up in the boxing history.
The fight lives up to his hype. At the start of round 1, boxing fans were treated with much delight, seeing two great warriors standing toe-to-toe. History is in the making as Pacquiao thrown 1,000 punches and landed 999 or an accuracy rate of 99.90% in a single round. Hatton on his part, hug Pacquiao 500 times, landing him a best contender for the Guiness Book of World Records for the most number of hugs in a single round in boxing.
hehehe... kala nyo seryoso..
