even though bob wanted manny to fight cotto (for sure he is, big $$$), it's not final.

manny has the right to choose his opponent, he's the one who go up in the ring not bob nor freddie.

cotto is a bum!! the most weakest chin.. and super slow motion..

Suspect for his loss to Margarito is the "plaster of Paris" on the latter's hand. You can take the Margarito fight away.

Cotto is a boxer and he's not known to be a KO puncher..

Also as people say.. His punches are Vulnerable to opponents..

He also has a weak chin, and suffers through stamina problem..

Meaning, Manny Pacquiao can defeat him. Although at a catch weight and not at 147lbs.

JMM will do well against Cotto, as JMM is a counter puncher and thrives well against boxers who throws a lot like Manny, Juan Diaz and Barrera....

hmm.... is it possible that Arum wants Cotto to be the next pound for pound and superstar of Top Rank Promotions by defeating Pacman. Arum Knew that Pacman will retire soon and have 1 or 2 fights left.. sorry Bob but Manny already said that he's willing to fight Marquez for a 3rd rematch after his May 2 bout with Hatton.

IMHO, Pac will fight the more dangerous Cotto for his belt and the chance to solidify his legacy having won titles in 6 divisions. But 1stly, he must wipe out Hatton who seems to be a formidable force in the 140 lb division. Yes, I saw the news about his willingness to fight Marquez again. But I doubt it will happen because JMM is calling Mayweather as his tuneup fight and his chances of winning is dim. Pac vs Mayweather is likely to happen but I repeat Pac must take care of Hatton first.

if you ask me... COTTO is number 2 p4p next to pacman....( Who cares if he lost to margarito.. everybody loses sometimes... ) and don't forget he beat mosley..who kick marga's azz!!!

cotto is way much better than hatton... wow.. i would love to see them fight each other...( cotto vs fatton ) :D

cotto seem to be unhappy with TOP RANK.. so uncle bob give him pacman next... could be a great great fight also... MUCH BETTER THAN FIGHTING A GAY RUNNER NAME MAYWEATHER...

so show some respect to this guy cotto... he one tough guy who's not mayabang outside the ring... unlike that gayman mayweather... :?

cotto is no more dangerous to pacquao than ricky is

or barrera was or DLH.. or wheoever

he would be eaten alive by pacman

really by now we should all have learned our lesson that when it comes to ELITE FIGHTERS who posses boxing abilities and most especially athleticism and physicality that far surpasses their peers, they should be judged diffrently and on the traits that makes them who they are

when has an elite fighter's resume determine if the fighter will beat manny? WHEN??was it barrera's, erik or DLH? DLH handled b-hops shots in the face but he couldnt handle manny's, what does that say?? resume's are irrevelant

what's more relevant to ask would be: is cotto on pacquaio's athleticism
level where he can execute his boxing skills to the point it can overcome manny? does he have a better boxing skill set than manny? how would his boxing skill set and style match up against manny?

all of this questions have been "SILENTLY" posed when fighters decided to fight manny, many have tried, many have failed and few have won

cotto would be no diffrent
