I now tend to believe that Pacquiao really inherited Dela Hoya as torch bearer of boxing and also his...

i think after JMM vs PAC III, the PEE-man will be past his prime too.... following the trends, JMM will be led to his retirement too.....

And when Pac defeats Mayweather, entrenched non-believers will say that Floyd had ring rust. There will always be naysayers who are a dwindling lot as Pacquiao overcomes tougher challenges. History will be kind to Pacman. He will not only be seen as an all time great boxer, but also as a fighter with a huge heart not just inside the ring overcoming the toughest of adversities but also outside the ring where his kindness and love for his countrymen is superlative.

My monicker is 'friend of Pacquiao' but I do not really know him. Someone who makes me proud to be a Filipino by exhibiting toughness, kindness, humility, respect for others and most of all love of God is my friend.

Well said bro....Its my goal to assimilate such values, except 'TOUGHNESS'. I only have mental toughness, if i may call it that. And im glad there are people who embrace these values.

It was good that Fatton was way past his prime. Because he was completely unfit, Pacquiao mercifully killed him in two rounds. If Fatton were fit, Pacquiao would give him an extra thousand punches to his face over twelve rounds. Whether he was young or old, Fatton made sure that his opponents' gloves will always find his face 100 percent of the time.

So, instead of a concussion for old Fatton, the young, fitter Fatton would have considerably more damage from receiving an extra 1,000 full-force punches from Pacquiao that he wouldn't be gifted if he simply smashed his stool on his skull by the second round. That translates to: (a) at least one blind eye; (b) ripped upper lip; (c) one nice perfectly-broken nose; (d) brain concussion, and (e) at least a month's stay in hospital.

Yeah, Pacquiao should have really fought the prime Fatton.
