Hello,

I'm KPinoy, my mom is Ilokano so that makes me half. She is from Ilocos and also lived in Cagayan.

I don't know Ilokano. I grew up outside the country but I really want to learn. I only remember:

Haan
Wen
Anya ti nagan mo?
sagaysay
dakle
mangan
dua

That's it. It's quite a shame i know... so anyone who wants to teach me... please teach me. I am very interested.

Hello, I'm American-born so I'm not fluent in Ilocano, but I'll give it a try. Maybe, the others can correct me or my spelling.

Thank you = Ag yaman-ak(I learned that from the guys here)
Are you Ilokano? = Ilocano ka?
I am also Ilokano.= Ilocano-ak met
I would like to learn Ilokano. = Kayat ko ti agsuro ti Ilocano.
Can you teach me Ilokano. = Maballin nga isurwan-ak ti Ilocano?
My mother is Ilokano = Diay(pronounced "J-eye") nanang ko ket Ilocano.
I grew up in Manila = Dimmakkel-ak diay Manila.
I love the Philippines and it is a beautiful country = ????????

I don't know the word for "love" and "country"...sorry...

I can talk ilocano, but I know it doesn't sound right... here goes...
