Mares looks to be a future star for sure. But Gerry gave Ponce all he can handle, and should have gotten the decision last year. Abner will be better off getting more experience, etc, etc.
IMO Abner has way more skills than DPDL.. Abner will be a tough opponent for Gerry. But Gerry is all about the big bucks now, he needs to understand that to have that belt he will have to defend it vs. it's mandatory's..
