According to Banal's trainer it could be that Banal "overtrained" and ran out of gas in the actual fight.
His trainer should concentrate on training Banal's heart. His heart to fight gave in, ala "No mas".

AJ is not a one dimensional fighter, he just got gassed at the end and quit . his corners were telling him to get up and he just shook his head and didnt wana get up...AJ is a complete fighter and a champion type caliber and the only thing thats missing is heart...he doesnt have heart,, he could got up from that knockdown but stayed down just like Morales on his third fight with Pac...but the difference is Morales knows he has been beaten and has no chance and Banal is winning the fight and could have got back up and finished the round but he didnt... all i can say is try again next time and be prepared it that time comes

Banal should have won this fight. Anything less than this is telling us something. Banal doesn't have it. He is not championship material. Look guys, Conception skills wise, is no match for Banal. Banal should have knocked this guy out. and he was given so many chances and he let the opportunity slip away. He was not hurt at all. He just gave up. He could have finished the round and even finish the whole 12 rounds decently. What did he do? He chose to remain sitting. As I remember right, Conception was the one being beaten around. The only beating that Banal suffered was when during clinches, he allowed Conception to hit him on his sides. Why did he allow that to happen? That was so stupid for him to do. And for someone to just give up, letting his future slip away infront of his countrymen, is for me is just PLAIN DUMB. FOR THIS, I CONSIDER HIM A BUM.

You have seen the fight and AJ had really ran out of gas. Can you still expect him to be on his knees when his already on his limits? Its not easy to be on the ring for 12 rounds standing on both feet looking tough. You have your own limits also. The night is probably not for AJ.

If you really thought AJ quit during the match, its because he knows his body cannot withstand anymore the pressure from Torito, yet his mental approach is far from over but his body wasn't. If its a fight to the finish you'd like to see, then probably a brutal death match is your way of entertaining yourself in this kind of sport.

One of your threads about AJ has been deleted already if you still haven't noticed that, try to be inert sometimes and refrain from posting another senseless bum threads.

Banal doesn't seem to have the heart to be a champion. It was a great opportunity for him to really rise to the occasion.

All the motivaton was in place, fighting in his hood with all the people who know him watching, the opprtunity for bigger fights.

If only he stood up and danced the remaining seconds away. It would have been more acceptable if he was knocked out cold at least that way wala na talaga siya magagawa, like david diaz.

But PACMAN has never lost in Philippine soil against foreign fighters, he never let down his countryman against invaders, he fought till the end. PACMAN has a warrior's aztech, you can see it in his eyes and it's in his blood.
