Pacquiao has set the bar so high that its almost impossible for other pinoy boxers to even duplicate his pre-barrera feats.

before barrera, pacman was already a two time world champion, while gerry was a one-time champ.

to make it achievable for the sake of discussion, lets make gerry penalosa the barometer...

who will be the 'next gerry penalosa'?


imo, gorres would have been it. but at the moment, i think melindo is technically sound to be a gerry type of fighter.
